Olympia

London's latest entertainment and hospitality destination

In 1886, Olympia flooded its own Grand Hall and floated gondolas across it for a recreation of Venice. It later hosted the world's first public television broadcast, then Jimi Hendrix, then decades of trade shows and Comic-Con crowds. Now, 140 years on and £1.3 billion into its transformation, Olympia has reopened as London's newest destination for food, drink and live music. The one thing it didn't have was a website that felt like any of it.

We started with the audience. Working with Olympia's team, we mapped who was actually going to show up: concertgoers, conference organisers, diners, tourists, families, more than 30 kinds of visitor, and what each of them needed to find first. With 10 million visitors projected a year, the answer wasn't more pages. It was a system that could change depending on who arrived.

We designed that system end to end, giving Olympia a digital presence with something of the scale and showmanship of the building itself. It was built in Webflow as a component library flexible enough to hold a rooftop restaurant launch and a corporate leasing enquiry without either feeling out of place, with Webflow Optimize running underneath for personalisation and A/B testing. Olympia opened in June, with more venues arriving through the year and a theatre in 2027. The site was built to keep pace.

"I love working with N4 Studio. They are brilliant at taking half-formed thoughts and turning them into elements we never knew we always wanted or needed for our site."
