Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our Hamilton team to manage global operations. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing our day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing insightful financial insights to support our business growth.   • Experienced: You have a proven track record in bookkeeping, financial record management, and financial reporting. Experience in an agency or creative industry is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Your keen attention to detail ensures that financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Analytical Thinker: You have the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using accounting software and tools is essential. Experience with Xero is essential.
  • Organised: You excel at managing multiple tasks and priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining order in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative: You communicate effectively and work well within a team, collaborating with cross-functional departments.

what you'll be doing

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for N4 Studio, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Cashflow Management: Monitor cashflow trends, prepare cashflow forecasts, and ensure appropriate liquidity levels to support operational needs.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant tax regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements. Provide analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Payroll Processing: Coordinate with HR to accurately process payroll, including tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and other related tasks.
  • Invoice Management: Prepare and send client invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payments, invoices, and account inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing financial information for tax filings and collaborate with external accountants as needed.
